Post ideas here. I was thinking a modern one with city tops and multiple roots for the people to go.

Well i'll throw in my .02$ because I recently made a tower defense game for the xbox 360.  Anyways, first things first, 3d or 2d?  Realize that if you go 3d it's the artwork that will make or break your game.  I think that a fixed top-down view of 3d models looks best.  I like the idea of a modern one (i've only seen fantasy or futurastic sci/fi ones done).  If you go the city approach you could have unique upgrades like say a power plant that connects to your buildings to give more damage, ect.  Well there are a couple hungover thoughts.  I could go on for days about making a game, but if you don't mind me asking what language/system are you developing it on/for?
