i think each class has its difficulties. for me, the spy is the hardest to be because everybody knows that i'm a spy and kills me before i can actually do anything.

Spy. For exactly the same reasons. If you support John McCain and/or George W. Bush, please click here.“I would like to say to Milton and Anna: Regarding the Great Depression. You're right, we did it. We're very sorry. But thanks to you, we won't do it again.” - Ben Bernanke

Spy's get killed for 2 reasons.
1. When people go spy they dont ACT like they are on the other team.
2. When people go spy they dont ACT like they are on the other team.
When some guy looks at me for too long I shoot him. When he is walking right to an SG I shoot him. When it looks like he is trying to stand behind me or anyoneelse on my team I shoot him. When I see anyone with half health I shoot him. When someone at half healtth walks across a med pack and the med pack does NOT disapear or heal him it is a spy shoot him. Take time to stand a bit behind the fight once and awile and you'll see the spies. Most people have tunnel vision in-game and the spies use that to there advantage.
I agree that spying and a good engy are the most difficult just because of the extra options/menus associated with the class.

Counter-argument: there is a lot of repetition to Spying. A lot of rinsing and repeating. The scope of spying can be narrowed down to back-stabbing enemies and sapping sentries.
The responsibilities of the Soldier are far greater tho. You have to cap points, spy-check, defend points, take out sentries, defend medics, kill heavies/pyros/nosy scouts, in the meanwhile trying to survive. I think soldiers have a lot of territory to cover, whereas spy and engie have a small area to cover, namely people's backsides and cap points respectively. That said, I understand how spies are harder to pick up, and soldiers are just point-and-click. But we're talking about playing the classes well, right? I mean it's pretty easy to be a noob *anything*. Just ask me, I'm a noob heavy. It's pretty easy. I walk for 30 minutes and then I die right away.
P.S. daniel I mentioned you in a post about a potential strategy guide, it's at the clan information section

Took me a long time to get good enough as a spy to survive for a while and have a decent k/D ratio. The key to being a spy is patience and pretending you're on the other team. I think spy is harder than solly BTW. As a good spy you play the whole map. I have more caps as a spy than a scout. A good spy can be devastating to the enemy. Being a good spy is hard. {pDs}BelligerentPimp wrote: No using the word "fucktard" unless you are refering to TonyRWC or Youngripark.j2. WDF? wrote:go fuck yourself hanukkah style.

What im aiming towards is "mastering" , being able to make due with both your strengths and weaknesses. basically being able to perform well at most any situation, whether its rushing or defending, etc. And also to be able to do the most damage possible to the opposing team, not just picking off scattered players.
Ex: Anyone can be an average spy, sap some shit, backstab some snipers and stuff. But to be an exceptional spy is to be able to constantly hassle the other team, not just getting kills and saps but slowing the enemy down (defensively or offensively) by making them worry. And be able to blend in and actually do the most damage possible. Whether its sapping sentries or backstabbing the medics before their ubers are up.
Ex: Anyone playing Pyro can randomly sit at corners and burn the guy passin by. Or find the easiest guy to kill for your class like spies and crap. An above average pyro would be like constantly clearing out buildings in dustbowl on defense constantly. To prevent the other team from gaining any advantage by constantly causing pressure and of course, suiciding when the time is ripe. And being able to make the other teams spies unable to blend in and make them second guess what they are doing. (maybe even making them change class)
I'm not sure all of what im saying makes total sense.
But anyways. I like the opinions so far, good points, and so far no blind stupid cases like "oh well spys have 1 hit kill and snipers do too, so they are the easiest" Keep it gonig if you guys want, im takin in to what you're saying into account for my next class to play.
P.S haha i just saw that now Leon. Thanks man i appericate it. I dont know about recording myself though , i feel burnt out playing demo at the moment. I could send your screenshots of my records or something? lol

Every class is hard for their own reasons. It wouldn't make sense to put it all on one class. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name Jessica343: so I can get heals {pDs} Lead Salad: oh damn good idea {pDs} Lead Salad has changed their name to {pDs} Lead Salad (is a girl) Jessica343: hahah

I agree. like someone said before it's easy being crappy in any class. Being good and an asset to your team is hard for every class.
Personaly I've been playing a lot of spy lately. I love pyro hunting (backstab pyros on the bridge) on 2fort and love it when snipers start changing class out of frustration after 5-6 backstab deaths....
Some keys are getting good at sap/stab/sap really fast. And disguise yourself as a member of your own team rather than use up your cloak really fast. I mean if you are on red make yuorself look like a red pyro (or whatever) while you are moving toward the enemy, then cloak switch to blue demo (or whatever) while cloaked and decloak. Works like a charm. {pDs}BelligerentPimp wrote: No using the word "fucktard" unless you are refering to TonyRWC or Youngripark.j2. WDF? wrote:go fuck yourself hanukkah style.

But you can also agree that some classes have more responsibilities than others. each one is hard sure, but which do you think would have the most difficult time doing it? :D lol we should just stop this topic now. too much debate. ill just play out pyro, spy, scout
