First thing I would do is update your video drivers. If they're not updated it may be whats causing you so much grief. You may also want to download the dual core optimizer from the AMD website for windows XP. If these both fail it may be a ram problem. What type of Ram do you have? I'm the leetest one here

Your motherboard should have come with a disk with the drivers, if not, you can go to the maker's website and download them there. Out of curiosity, did you run something like Wipedisk to zap your HD? Also, do this: Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware (tab)>Device Manager (button) Do you see any yellow exclamation points in front of any of the devices? If there are, there's a driver problem. You should be more like Cantrip. Twitchy: "I pulled a Cantrip . . ." GivePeaceAChance: "If the Tempest had nipples, I'd pinch that shit." Xylicon: "I'm about to deliver my [Richard] in your face for posting that stupid shit. " WDF?: "He keeps reaming me... night after night... I'm rather sore." GivePeaceAChance: "OMG MY NIPS ARE HARD" llenta: "cantrip, you fail!!!" Filliam H. Muffman: "i'm on top of dick"

i would test the hardware startingwith the harddrive, u can usually get some specific test tools from tjhe manufactorer, or just use seatools, spyware may have only been 1 of the issues MakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote: yes. please go fuck yoruself and die.

Hmm well it could be a harddrive problem itself. Maybe your hardrive is starting to crap out on you. I had a friend who had a similiar problem and the end result was a dead hardrive. This is more than likely not the case however so it may be a Mobo problem so see about updating the drivers for it. I'm the leetest one here
