i fixed my video card problem, turns out it had an inch of dust on the filter, but now my monitors is acting all fuxed up. when i turn it on it will do one of 3 things, the screen will stay off with the power button flashing green, it will give me a boot screen then cut off with the power button flashing green, or it will stay on and lock up flashing off and on now and again before going back to working normally In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. could be a number of things. I had a similiar problem and it ended up being my monitor and I had to return ti (was under DELL warranty). Try downloading new drivers or putting a new montior in and isolating ur problem Code:

i found the problem and feel stupid, i checked the DVI connection on the backside of my monitor, the right side was loose and not securely connected In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.
