The father was probably obsessive compulsive to an alarming degree and was secretly molesting the boys and when the oldest found out that his younger brothers were being abused as he once was he took it upon himself to end the misery by first killing the father but then in his madness and went too far and killed the mother as well for allowing it then finished off his brothers to save them from the pain he was feeling at that time..(just a guess..please let us know what happens when the shrinks get ahold of him.)
Personally the boy(young man responsible for his own actions) needs to be put down like a diseased cow.
