Since we moved to Seattle there have been people complaining about the move saying we shouldn't have done it, I personally have only had a 40 - 50 ping increase, so it doesn't bother me, but why does HLstats say our servers are still in Texas? .jpg) And those are our server IP's correct?

Not sure man but people been complaining because yesterday when we had 2 servers full we were lagging like shit. Everyone had like 50 ping but with a couple missiles and flamethrowers on dustbowl everyone just teleported around and rockets/pipes,etc would be uber laggy. Basically everything was super choppy.

I am working on solutions. According to the box there is nothing wrong. I have implemented a fix that I think might work. Lemme know if you notice anything.

It is weird how the lag is unrelated to pings and that the server says nothing is wrong, it totally feels like the server is underpowered, but I've seen it with 3+ servers full and it runs smooth. Other times only 1 is full and it does the chunky. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

I have set the cpu affinity. Hopefully that will fix the issue. If it doesn't, we need to go disable hyperthreading on the box (old box). I will get to the bottom of this. Please be patient. There were bound to be some issues.

{pDs} TERMINATOR™ wrote:I knew WDF should not have moved the servers.. Guess he ought to run all decisions by you first, eh? When the "lag" feeling happens and the pings are low, it is either the a client issue (not likely as all are seeing it) or a server issue, such as not being able to get enough data out fast enough or other issues. I am sure WDF will get it hammered out. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
