Another shitty tech blog post from the guy that fantasizes about being like cantrip. Today's episode: How to make your own gamepad. FOR FREE.  Ingredients: Xbox controller iPod cable or any USB cable with a ground wire Knife or stripping tool soldering iron/solder Electric tape XBCD driver Step one: Hack both cables open. Peel back the braid and aluminium wrap, expose wee wires. Step two: match the colours with solder. Disregard the yellow wire on the controller. Don't forget to join the two ground wires! Step three: wrap that shit up and plug it in. Install the drivers. You're good to go! Actually, not completely. If you want to play TF2 with your new gamepad, you'll have to ask god himself for a miracle, because for some reason the game is not recognizing the right joystick for me.

I'm sure a wired 360 controller costs as much or less then a Xbox controller that still works and soldiering tools. Win Cookies Awarded: 7 (bawwwwww)

Uh, you can just buy a Pelican PS2->PS3 adapter and use an old PS2 controller for $15

Just get a 360 controller and download the software for it and it will work on your pc, my brother does it all the time.
