True, but doesnt stop the fact that the xbow can be shot at any part of the body for instant kill. And I dont think its 100 to chest shot. I could be wrong. I do love the Mag Kill deaths though. I think chest shot is POSSIBLY 100, but it does something like 60 shield 40 health giving you 60 40. Although, I can't recall being killed in one shot, other than to the face, with just 100 suit. We should test this out, on eachother. in the butt.

Either way still fact remains that if you take a look at the hitbox of the xbow, which is just the entire body. To the hitbox of the magnum which is a head which can get damn freaking hard. like i said earlier, you can get off something like 2-3 shots i believe with the mag for every 1 shot with the bow since the reload is so slow on the bow. so if each shot does 100, then 2 shots is 200. so the damage/time is almost the same. if you think its still unfair, then ask sirus if he can decrease the reload time on the mag so that you can get more shots off quicker. this way you can get 6 shots off quick before you actually have to reload you gun. there is your solution

standard chest shot with the mag is 75 if I remember correctly Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

It still isnt fair considering you can probably lauch 12 bolts by the time you can lauch 12 mag hits, considering each hit with the bow will score a kill and not the same with the mag. It isnt fair in any sense. I really dont want to change the mag. I would really like to see the bow changed back but I think its a pointless battle. It just saddens me to see that the xbow has more kills that almost every other weapon combined. Honestly if you still think it is fair then you dont use the magnum you are just one of the mindless xbow toters. It looks like I am ice skating uphill so I am just going to stop this endless battle, I hope you guys enjoy your 100dmg bows when we scrim. Nate's right. I quit the fight too. Fuck It. But I'd like to personally challenge any of the X-bow toters to a 1 v 1, you can even choose the map, just no mods . I forgot to add in my last post: I understand that you want to make the xbow so it isnt a useless weapon. But it is stupid to me to make it so that there are 5 useless weapons and 1 good one. I just had a crazy idea. Would there be any way to have a pheropod as a weapon, that spawned one antlion to come after whoever you throw it at? It would be a delicious diversion for somebody who was trying to kill you.
Ooh, and I was also thinking about the gibs and lag and shit, maybe if you had the skulls dissapear as soon as they hit the ground it would reduce lag. Either that or lower the players to like 28 or something?

Another problem I've noticed, is the melee has a nice little strenght to it during regular ctf maps when you can get to 100/100, but when you're on a regular ass DM it's all stunsticks in yo face, bunch of lame whores of statistics. And when you're getting bopped in the back of the head everytime you sprawn, you go "fuck this crap" and leave, then you have an empty server (or a server with 10 stat whores). But I guess thems just the breaks, melee would be pathetic if it was back to standard on ctf maps.

Im not sure if its possible but if you could make the melee setting different for different maps like, strong melee for CFT and a weaker melee for regular DMMakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote: "Craps Alert"
