some thing i ran across on google. dubbed as 'mushroom kingdom hearts'. here are some videos:



The game is currently in beta state but you can play about 7-8 of the levels.

grab the latest version here (12Mb)
also grab the background music pack or the game may crash - BGM pack (16Mb)


After playing it a bit I would say it is one of the best free games I have played. The controls can be a little unresponsive at times but really nothing terrible. Looking forward to trying all the other Worlds the creator has in store:

World 1: The Mushroom Kingdom (standard Mario stuff)
 World 2: Alternate Earth (Military War Zone and other real-world locations)
 World 3: Mega Man's World (Levels based on those of the original Mega Man series)
 World 4: The Demon Realm (Levels based on DOOM, Castlevania, and Ghouls and Ghosts)
 World 5: Ocean of Oblivion (Lair of the Leviathan goes here, along with surreal swimming levels)
 World 6: SHMUPS Domain (Sky Pop and Marine Pop-only levels. Expect levels based on Gradius and R-Type)
 World 7: Realm of Nintendo (Levels based on and featuring Link, Samus, Kirby, Donkey Kong, and more)
 World 8: Sonic's World
 World 9: Halo Ringworld (features Halo characters and enemies)
 World -1: Twisted Reality (comparable to Kingdom Hearts II's World That Never Was)

This game looks sick. I'm going to download it as soon as I get home.

Before this, if anyone said to me that there was a game that mad Halo mario fun, I would have taken them to Fuck Town.

Just Played the game for a while.

Business is right. This is one of the best freeware games out there. Grab a copy. It's only 28MB Total, so if you don't like it, no major loss.

And all of the music is 100% Win certified.
