I saw this a little while ago. I've been lookin for this guys company in stocks right now.. hopefully he'll be publically trading... I'd take a loan out and put it in there.... There is gonna a lot of people trying to squash this though... namely fossil fuel companies.

No. water as a fuel is actually useless, but this video makes it look really cool. Ethanol is still looking pretty promising for the next big switch. as good as this is, and as much as this would be cool to have, i doubt it will ever come to be. the USA has too much invested in the middle east and the gas there. everybody knows that all the crude oil will be esentially gone in the next 40 years at current usage, but we owe so much money to the middle east. if we stop buying their gas, they will want all the money we own them and that will flop our government. so if the government allows this, they will buy this guys patent and delay the testing of this so long that it will be decades before this becomes available to the public.
EDIT- i love how they stated that in a 100 mile trip he only used a few ounces of water, but they didn't say how much gas he used.

HHO is unstable, turns back to water very easily, and it requires an electrolysis machine for synthesization. And it needs to be synthesized right on the spot, it can't be stored. The machine uses more energy to make the gas than a car would get actually burning the gas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_fuel_cell http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HHO http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20763&page=4

sadly, its the truth. the numbers dont' line up. I've been folowing fuel cell technology since 1999. They work great, except you have to burn so my hydrogen to produce more that you don't get any extra energy to support a vehicle in motion.
Hell, I almost went to college for an A.R.E. degree. But, I decided there wasn't enough of a market for it in what I wanted. Plenty in the military side of things (tiny fuel cells for power for micro chip body suits and shit) but not much for civilian life that will become economically feasable in the next few decades.
