Since when did we care about anything?
All this "should we kick craps out" stuff just seems stupid and childish to me. And it's not just this most recent drama, it's other stuff. Ever since we became a "major clan" (news flash, we arn't) with our own servers (news flash, they're not ours, they're jimmy's) we've been attracting people that just want to attach themselves to something they see as "big time" or "successful" or something they think is better that what they already have. With people like that, comes petty drama and stupid squabbling over stupid stupid stupid things.
This is the internet. WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK? Chances are, nobody (I'm incuding this post in that statement. most people won't even read all of it and flame me anyway. Yay for you people).
I long for the times when the boards were just full of stupid crap that was just supposed to make us laugh or get into joking arguements with each other. Maybe sometimes someone would post a cool video, or organize a night that everyone would hop into a temp server that james would put up ( or a dedicated server that no one used, i can't rememeber which) and we'd all frag until our eyes were so blurry we couldn't see the monitor. That was FUN. The only drama was whenever someone would post that damn pic that Mr. T (sorry, jasespots :P) photoshopped of me.
Take it from a guy who has been in this community for almost as long as anyone else (since i was... 12? Yeah, i think it was 12) and will probably be leaving for good in 18 days: Just try to have fun here.
No one in the real world cares if you are a server admin, have a top 10 ranking, have a million forum posts, if you "totally pwned that nub", or run the #1 HLDM server. Just have fun. This is a great group of guys here and you all will have so much more fun if you stop caring and remember why you play games in the first place.
