So I have been feed up with the current medic uber exploit and have come accross it too many times these last couple of days.

I hate to have to bother others for something I could handle myself.

When I do see hackers I already "status" to get steam I.D. and record a demo just in case the admin I call on wants some proof later down the line.

So with that I would like to throw my name in the pot for Admin. FallenGreyWolf would like to as well.

As you know I play WAY too much TF2 and 90% of it is on tempest servers. I am on daily and at home alot so I think my availability to others might come in handy also.

I realize vote kick has been enabled but would like to expidite the proccess of removing players that are having a negative impact on the servers.

I consider my demeaner well mannered and suitable to handle situations well. I was an old school admin for my TFC clan for 2 years back in the day also.

Thanks,

Dave

needs the ban hammer for the killing Temp #2 festivities with medic exploit around 2 pm today.

If you need the demo I can upload it somewhere.

I as well would like to apply, as I start to play more I find more and more often that I am on at a time when there is no other admin on, and as such I have to whisper Leon on DP to come help, and I'm sure that they are quite tired of that.

Since the medic patch there have been far to many exploiters and hackers, and I think it safe to assume that as the new class achievements come out this trend will continue.  Because of this, I feel that we should have a few more admin for servers, to be able to handle issues like these without the traditionally requisite people being on, particularly if its during the pDs off-hours.

There is nothing that kills a server quicker than an unpunished hacker/exploiter and so I throw my name in for admin status.  I have experience admining servers in HL and I also mod several forums.

when you mean there is no admin on, do you mean no admin on the server or logged in steam?

i'm usually logged in every night and i always read about people posting about problems and i never receive messages to join up into the server and get rid of them.  if there is a problem, its takes me all of 2 minutes to load up and get rid of them.  no need to deal with it and risk losing players to asshats that just want to ruin the fun for everybody.

Your guys poll will run for 7 days, if successfull you will enter the purdy gates of power and astonishment...... also back breaking duties, and most importantly responsibilities.

Just in game. Typicaly when I see fools causing trouble I go right to friends and see whose in game thats an Admin. In order to make the response the quickest.

But keep in mind by the time a admin shows  mins might have gone by. Add to that the time it takes for the admin to spec/verify asshatness and you might have people logging out and going to other servers in frustration. Word of mouth works in Biz and Gaming. I think the more resposible individuals we have as admins the better this will reflect on our reputation.

Definition: AssHatness, Verb. A discription of an idividual attempting or in the proccess of becoming an asshat. Example: (1. v.He has an asshatness about him.) (2.v. I can't stand that guys asshatness.) See: Newbness

Both, or either.  More often than not, the only admin logged into steam when there are issues requiring attention, is Leon.  And unfortunatly because of server issues, and other issues, Leon recieves far to many whispers from me.

Thats the largest reason I applied with war, was so that I could stop bugging others when issues do come up.

I'm always happy to help. I also understand the time it takes an admin to arrive and spec the offender seems ages, especially when everyone has to stop in their tracks and watch the griefer trying to recreate a Team Roomba moment.

I definitely think these admin applications are long overdue too.

Dragon and Splinter have access to the rcon. They don't even have to join the game. They can manage it through hlsw.

So, prioritize. Myself, Dragon, and Splinter are the ones who, if around, can deliver results quickest.

But these votes are underway.
