I just got my Open water certification a few months ago and am taking a dive trip out to St. Lucia!  Just wanted to know if there were any other divers in the community....I am excited about getting more into this.  I don't own a BC or regulator just yet...and I dont really want to invest in a dive computer unless I REALLY get into it.  For now I will just use my RDP table and a dive watch.

Anyway, just wanted to test the waters and get others input into good gear or good reefs/locations.  I dont mind diving in fresh water because thats all we have around here....Low vis is challenging!  I have already kinda completed a requirement in my search and recovery certification because my wife lost her weight belt in 15 feet of 2 foot visibility lake.  She got out of the water and was like "ok who took my belt?"  Oh shit I bet i lost it when I was taking off my BC out in the lake?
Great.  So i went out and fucking actually found it after about 10 minutes.  My instructor was impressed.
