So I've watched the .dem files Dick has uploaded to the forums but the most recent ones dont load when I open the file from console or from within the directory.

It seems as though the new medic weapon cause some type of un able to load proccess to occur at least when I try to load from console.

From the directory it says that a .txt file is missing from the HL file.

Anyone else have these issues? Any suggestions?

Below is the Console output:

Sounds similar to an experience Delta and I shared...We were sitting along on a park bench...(no just kidding)

We couldn't watch older demos because steam updates changes the nature of the engine. Hence older demos cannot be 'viewed' or compiled. I looked everywhere and everyone has this same issue, which is annoying as it renders all old demos useless.

Solution: The only fix that I got working was to pirate a copy of old TF2 and apply the proper patch on it. Then I would watch the demo under this 2nd copy of TF2. Another method is to simply turn all demos into viewable AVIs...but then they are quite large in size.

Needless to say it is annoying as shit and takes a lot of time.
