I am unable to connect to the internet. It says it is unable to renew the ip address. I am using a linksys router with a Linksys USB adapter. My laptop connects fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First, I would try to ping your router. If you can, then try putting in a manual IP address. TEAM APARTMENT: No one rocks quite as hard as we do. Often just uninstalling the network card driver and reinstalling it is the quickest fix.

Thanks. That was the first thing I tried. It did not work. Near as I can figure I either uninstalled something that screwed it up or dloaded something that did, but I did a system restore to middle of last week and it is now running fine. Hopefully it won't cut out again.
