OK this is what always happens when the server has been empty.... pl_goldrush as normal... Then it won't let you do nominate or rtv during the game.... nextmap will say cp_badlands but then it always goes to cp_aqua... now in and of itself this is not a big deal because after this initial phase the server operates normally.. the problem is... cp_aqua sucks... its a big download... and it always cuts the server population in HALF!!! So I propose one of the following... 1) remove cp_aqua alltogether 2) update the server config so that cp_aqua is not in the maplist after pl_goldrush... put something else cool like avanti :-D If we are gonna be forced to a map make it a super badass one!! Then of course the ultimate goal, would be to fix it so that nominate/rtv actually work on the initial pl_goldrush map... but until then... option 1 or 2 should be strongly considered... Yargh

yeah you have to get on the server when its been completely empty for a while.... Yargh

Well not sure what is causing it then, all I know is that if you hop on the server when its been empty for a while and get things started, the above scenario plays out :-D If someone else could confirm that it does happen, could we take it out of the maplist since its not the order thats causing the issue? Yargh

Now I have seen this done about 3-4 times on tempest 3. Goldrush will be playing then switches to Aqua when I type nextmap and it tells me badland is next (then I get über sad and cut my wrist cause its BADlands) then big surprise cp_aqua?

Thanks for the confirmation Saber, Can we remove cp_aqua from the mapslist.txt then? People could still vote for it if they actually want to play it right? Yargh

THE SERVER LIES!!!
I typed nextmap for tempest 3 everyday after goldrush and it always says badland, then it switched to Well, Gravel Pit, and badlands for once (EPIC)

ive seen it where i type nextmap before it changes, it lists something like: avanti,(i cant remember actually wht map it was) but actually changes to dustbowl MakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote:
