Got this error after I got the Steam update and let it try to restart: steam.exe (main exception): cmultifieldblob(pserialized): fieldId defined twice The solution is you go to your your Steam folder and delete the ClientRegistry.blob file and restart Steam. That is all. Carry on. You should be more like Cantrip. Twitchy: "I pulled a Cantrip . . ." GivePeaceAChance: "If the Tempest had nipples, I'd pinch that shit." Xylicon: "I'm about to deliver my [Richard] in your face for posting that stupid shit. " WDF?: "He keeps reaming me... night after night... I'm rather sore." GivePeaceAChance: "OMG MY NIPS ARE HARD" llenta: "cantrip, you fail!!!" Filliam H. Muffman: "i'm on top of dick"

That is all. Carry on. After years of fiddling with the steam files ive noticed its actually not clientregistry that needs a kick in the 0010100's. Its AppUpdateStats.blob. Client registery I found out deletes ALL your personal settings on steam..... its this thing thats claimed well over a couple of dozen favorite server list... I couldn't figure out why the fuck everytime I needed to delete those files have my favorites completely vanished. ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

I still have my favorites, history, etc. Didn't Steam announce that they were going to fix it so no matter where you logged in, even on a friend's machine, that all your personal settings would come with? The Client Blob doesn't need to be touched. ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions
