just noticed something interesting that is new. when I download torrents I can't connect to any tf2 servers :( it just sits there and times out. just started within the past few days. stupid comcast. anyone know how they are doing this and/or a way around it? not that downloading torrents and playing tf2 at the same time are a huge deal, but it's the principle of the matter... i would try changing the port settings on whatever bitorrent client u are using; also if u use peerguardian, by default it blocks steam MakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote: yes. please go fuck yoruself and die.

Maybe you should stop eating up all of your nodes bandwidth you hog. Or get verizon FIOS. TerribleNate wrote:Fuck nice... Tell her she is fat and stupid every day. I would switch if I could, they have been a non-stop hassle and I've had on-going issues for about two years now that they are unable or unwilling to resolve. I do share my wifi with others, but whenever I've looked the only time I really suck bandwidth is when torrenting, and even then it's often not a huge amount. I experimented a little and even turning the torrents total used bandwidth down to something tiny like under 20/20 I still can't connect to tf2 servers. I have not changed anything, no peer guardian or anything like that, my router is configed the same and all that. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

just make sure your torrent client is using any of these ports: Steamclient1: 27000 - 27020 Steamclient2: 27020 - 27050 SteamServ: 27015 MakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote: yes. please go fuck yoruself and die.
