so about a week ago my 6800gs crapped out; out of desperation until i can swindle enough money away from the wife to buy a replacment i took an old fx 5200 out of my other box; aside from ubers only showing up as darker colored, it is somewht playable...one thing i noticed though, some objects from a distance dont show up until u get close to them, however, things like people and sentries behind those objects still are visible

I'm pretty sure it just have to do with the fact that that particular video card can't keep up with the game. It will cut certain things due to precidence in the programming since your drawing is slow and your draw distance is really short. I don't need to watch the demo, I believe you. Haha, same shit happened to me on my OOOOLD PC playing CS on a Radeon 7500 (you get the point...) Whenever MSN Messenger would pop up a little slider thing on th ebottom of my screen, it would fuck with my refresh rates ... or whatever... and walls would flicker. I could see behind them!
