Thats why we need to use up all the gas and oil as fast as possible to make OPEC go under, then what will those countries do for money, food, health care, schools, weapons.
I am doing my part are you. I drive a F-150 4x4 and get 14 miles to the gallon and drive 45 miles one way to work each day and 45 miles back.
I drive a Toyota 4x4 that gets 15 miles to the gallon, drive same amount at the Ford when I switch out.
I use my 18 foot bass boat with 115 hp Yamaha outboard to cruise up and down the lakes and run through a tank of gas each trip of which is 25 gallons.
I want to put the oil company on its knees! Makem say my name, and then say see fuckers if you would have not been so greedy this shit wouldnt have happend, and you would have invested in alternate fuels research and development like we asked you to! genius? You wanna take this to Fuck Town? Oh gadzooks, yes!

Actually it's a pretty good plan. We have more than enough oil in the United States and in the Gulf of Mexico to run the US for another 50 years alone. Why do you think we aren't using it? After the Middle East runs out of oil, then we control the dominate force of oil and coal in the world. That, my friends, means we have the world by the balls in two different areas. Hate gas prices? Do what everybody else in the world does.... - plan your trips before you go (don't drive to the grocery store to buy crackers)
- drive more efficiently (i.e. don't zoom off from stoplights, drive slower)
- try using other means of transportation, bike, walk, subway..
As for me, I commute to work on my bike. Also don't forget, Canada is our biggest source for oil. get your ass to mars

I sure hope that is filled with sarcasm and you do not actually believe that. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

It's too bad that the arab oil states are buying up US assets with all thier money. They arent fucking stupid..they know it wont last forever. They are buying America one piece at a time. When the oil runs out..well they will have control of 20 industries from computers to steel mills and probably our american drilling and refining companies (if we are stupid enough to give them shares) all funneling dollars back home to buy goats or whatever. Or how about Americans look to the long run for the first time, ever. I'm actually glad I have to spend 48$ to fill up my tiny ass Civic. Because at some point American's are going to so "Well HOLY SHIT I think we need to invest in Alternative Renewable Green Energy Sources!" We can't just rely on our own drastically small crude oil supply when "OPEC goes under." And speaking of "OPEC going under" do you REALLY think that if a fringe group of people start using up all the gas the can, that the gigantic OPEC will suddenly fall to its knees? Or is it more likely that this fringe group of people will run out of money before OPEC? And why the hell are we blaming OPEC? A huge chunk of the reason as to why crude oil rose above 100$/barrel (Currently around 130-150$ IIRC) is due to OIL SPECULATION. That's right, prices rose because there's a huge market in speculating on the price of oil, thus driving up prices in the actual market. And do you know what made this legal? A piece of legislation supported, backed, lobbied, and loved by, who else, but ENRON. In fact, legislators and energy companies all lovingly refer to it as the Enron Legislation (or variations thereof.) Yesterday, senators were spoken to about how oil very well could drop down to 2$/Gallon if legislators would just revoke that little bit of Enron history, making it illegal (again) to speculate on fucking oil, so that prices would go down again. I'm not too sure if that's the best thing for us, after all, in the long run. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

I'm not too sure if that's the best thing for us, after all, in the long run. Can you provide support for your Enron legislation? The only legislation regarding Enron that I can find pertains to the Sarbanes-Oxeley we are all subjected to now. As for OPEC going under...I think I will be dead and dust before their wells run dry. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Umm. When "opec goes under" you cocksuckers are going to turn to Canada, who has the largest amount of oil under its soil (hey, a rhyme!) Or you could always start building electric cars again and kiss your problems goodbye. Meh.

Thanks. I googled "Enron Legislation" as you suggested in the first post and could not find anything. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
