I tired to upgade my video drivers for my 8800 gt scc and it fucked my computer up so i reformated it and now it keep getting this thing that says that it can not find the video controller VGa compatible i had already d/l the drivers from the msi site because i bought an open box mb. I installed the zip file with all the drivers but i can install the video controller is this a windows xp one or what? Some one help plz WDF?: I found a hot girl WDF?: Who lets me WDF?: Drink WDF?: Smoke WDF?: And play video games WDF?: ALL DAY shignog: and in the back door? Wouldn't you need the cd from the video card? I would think it would have the drivers you need. Ignore this if it is a stupid question. Trying to help.

Sorry yes it is an Nvidia chip set its an 650i msi sli mb. I have very tired lately so my brain is not up to pair right now and my leave stuff out. Always get nVidia drivers from nVidia for nVidia cards. I have an ASUS brand 8800 GTS but always use the drivers from nVidia. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Mothrboard drivers then video card drivers. DL and install all you motherboard drivers first then go get video drivers form nvidia. I'd recommend the 173.67 drivers with a modded inf file to allow install for 8800 GT cards.
