has now developed a vertical blue line down the right side. ARGH!

DOes anybody know of any other reason besides dead cells that this can happen? I read one place that there might be a small chance the cable can do it but I disc the monitor cable from the thing and the line still shows. my 17in Wal Mart garbage screen that i ran for years didnt do this stuff.

and if the cells are dead has anybody had any luck with getting best buy to do a no receipt exchange? that is the other shoe in this screwed situation. I have not yet been able to come up with the receipt for this damn thing.

Call them up and ask. If you paid with a credit card, I'm sure they can look it up in their computers and give you an exchange.
