So when someone requests it, they're put into a recruitment phase for 1-2 weeks followed by a vote for 1 week. I'd assume the 2 weeks is so we can all get to know them. But... what if we already know them? I guess what I was thinking is that the vote could start right away and anyone who already knows them can vote. But in order to get in right away, there needs to be a good amount of votes in favor. Like 10 or something - something they'd not likely to get if people don't know them. If they get that, they're in early. If not, then after 1-2 weeks it runs as normal and is.. which I think is majority decision? Doesn't actually say anywhere... Anyway.. just a thought as I was going around looking for Granimals' thread to vote for him and forgot it wouldn't be around for two weeks.

The reason we make everyone go through the motions is because we don't want people to feel less favored as they watch other players instantly join.

It is good to have a set procedure for it. Everyone goes through the same process, except Mystique and no one can deny that in her case it was the right thing to do.
