If you right-click the image and select "View image" it looks bigger. Yes, they do show up on the Internet tab. Anyhow, feedback. My ping's about 20 ms lower, which is good, I guess, and there's been less lag, but there's still some. About midnight tonight (morning) PST on Tempest 1, I was in the single digits FPS-wise at times and I'm typically around 80-200. I checked on another server with 20 people and was sitting at 150, so it was only that server. That hasn't happened before, though. Changes? Maybe sudden death on Hydro? For two cycles on hydro (about 1.5 hours, I guess), I don't think any team managed to capture a single point. I know people don't like it much, but at least it'd cut down on the turtle-fest the map turns into when 30 people are online. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but Tempest 1 doesn't appear to have either ctf_Turbine or cp_Fastlane, yet both are listed on the Server Information topic here. On that note, the IP addresses are incorrect on that topic now, too. At least Tempests 1-3 are pretty active and I'm seeing players on 1 or 3 around 5:00 PM on the east coast, which I like. Overall, though, it's definitely a big improvement. Thanks, WDF and Sirus.

Hydro seems to come up on temp1 a lot, and every time its either a stalemate or a blowout. Makes me sad. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

Is anybody not on the left coast getting timed out of the servers? I go through periods where I time out and can't see any of the servers for a few minutes...I can connect to any other server...just not the tempests.

How about heavy boxing sudden death? hell yeah As long as saber doesn't do the boxing for my team. He never ceases to fail at punching the other guy. It's like watching a version of Rocky where Sylvester Stalone just goes down fast and stays down. Anyway. The rubberbanding has been taken care of on the new servers, at least as far as I can tell. (I think i'm alone on this one) My ping always spikes up to like 200 every 30 seconds and that gets really annoying. They're running great, but there's so many of them! I hope they're doing things other than hosting TF2, else the majority of them just sit there racking up hosting costs.

I was playing on temp 6 and kept saying abyss eternal-silence 3.0, is it supposed to say that? I was just wondering, it seemed kind of out of place, maybe if there was an IP address to accompany it...?
EDIT: Also, as of 12:20 PM PST the CSS and HLDM servers aren't online. Quote:Razor: As hard as one might try no one will ever be able to pull one over on Super Penguin. Backpack of Win

I always lked sudden death. Personally, that was the best part of any CP map for me. It was a chance to outsmart the other team, but while watching your own back very carefully. I vote put it on at least on hydro, if not all CP maps.
I already mentioned this to Whut, but there is a 0 in front of all the announcements.
Quake sounds are a must, we should get those back up (also source radio).
I think the kick time for inactivity should be a little shorter, it seems like it takes around 5 minutes. I could be wrong on this one.
MOTD screen: the picture is not big enough on my screen, so it goes into the upper left hand corner, the rest of the screen is that ugly purple / black checkerboard. It would be really cool for the MOTD on all the servers to have a link to our abuse report forums, then have a recurring announcement message tell people that they can type in motd and report jackasses. This could work with CSS and The tempests, I don't know if DOD or eternal silence works with that.

That's a pretty good idea! Quote:Razor: As hard as one might try no one will ever be able to pull one over on Super Penguin. Backpack of Win

another 4 cents worth..
Admins shouldn't be kicked from spec mode. The current settings don't really allow enough time to record an adequate demo if speccing someone.

I really really hate autobalance, yet we need some kind of autobalance system to keep the teams even.
Why don't we prevent autobalance from balancing people who chose to join teams randomly, instead of selecting them?
