Got an alert from {pDs}Evolution that Server #2 crashed at around 12:46 pst.
*Edit- Looks like all servers except for the goldrush server crashed at the same time.

Yep... happened again when there were only a handful of us playing. Hope it's better tomorrow... though I'm not sure I'll have time to play, myself.

an update on that issue ... yesterday it was only every server BUT the goldrush server that crashed and rebooted.... just now at around 12:10 ... it happened again .. but this time it was every server ... we had about 30 people on goldrush and 2fort 24/7 but everyone left...... and didn't come back.... this is starting to become an issue due to population decreases.....

Are they all trying to do updates or something? I think they're all on physically different servers which rules out a lot of possibilities.

Well to me that says that since the servers were purchased at the same time and probably held by the same organization, it probably has something to do with whatever service is running the servers. Are the game servers actually restarting, or just kicking everyone off? If they're just kicking people off, then yeah... could be a network issue. If they're actually restarting then the only thing that could be happening that the ISP would have sway over would be power, and the servers are all being shut down and restarted. That is unless they have shell access to the servers to do backups or some added, non-standard service. As I recall, though, they seem to become available again pretty quickly... not sure it'd be enough time for the server's to go through the boot-up process.

I don't know much about how servers are operated, I was just speaking in general. It's up to wdf and sirus to figure out what it is. Chase: the only refuge i have from my mom is when i go to my gf's Me: I have no gf, just palmela handerson Chase: Well at least you aren't a double amputee.

its not like its dead for a while and then reboots... its pretty much instant..... but i wait for the 25 sec connection problem warning to go away before d/c and reconnect to the server because sometimes it might be my own internet...... but yeah.... ill post again if we get the same situation again

Just happened again around 1:20am. Once I got to the server list I refreshed and it was already back up with a few players, but the game server definitely reset. And it defintitely wasn't a server reboot.

Looks like they all just went down again at 2:20am PST. And I think I've got it... rounds would restart if everyone gets kicked off right? Meaning the servers aren't reseting like I originally thought when I saw the clock was reset. If that's the case, then I'd put my money on the datacenter losing internet connectivity altogether which would affect all servers there-in simultaneously.

Thanks for looking into this for me. I will be discussing stuff with ol' datacenter soon because I'm also seeing some loss connections occasionally.
