Interesting choice, since in a prior debate, Biden said Obama did not have the experience to make a good candidate, and that he would be proud to run with or against McCain as president, because McCain has the experience to be President.

Got to love the "experience" card. I don't remember "experience" being an issue with Dubya and look what he did for us.

Well George W. was governor of Texas, and led a few failed companies.

Obama just entered politics a couple years ago.

It doesn't matter to me though. Experience got us in a mess.

Another person who had very little experience before being elected was Abraham Lincoln.

Obama is desperate now. He sees the trend and it don't look good.  Watch for him and Biden to go on the attack big time, basically politics as normal.

Well......Initially, I didn't like this pick.  Personally, I favored Bill Richardson, although it probably would never have happened.  But the more and more that I look at Biden, I actually start to like him.  He's still an idiot, but at least some improvements MIGHT occur with him as VP......

The only thing I dislike however, is that Obama made this pick in reaction to Republican attacks.........Fucking have a backbone, don't just do shit in response to the Republicans......We all know that Bush/Cheney/McCain are all fucking criminals.  As are you Mr Obama and Mr Biden, you just like to shroud yourself in the pretention that you are helping people.  At least the Republican's SHOW their outright contempt for the poor and middle class.
Suffers from the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency — nay — the very existence of George W. Bush

Good point. I've never heard of Biden, but I don't like the way he sounded in the OP. He'd enjoy running for OR against mccain?! wtf!! no neutrels, one or the other!
I was just really hoping one of the Libertarians would win, like Bob Barr or Ron Paul, but as usual the second any third party steps up, the Dems and Reps stomp them out. :(

Biden and McCain are real life long time friends, traveled the world together, and I believe they were war buddies. Hence, he would enjoy running with/for him, or against him, since they have different political views and parties. I know, I know. Still sounds confusing.

I think McCain has more Democratic friends than Republican ones.

He supposedly was a democrat at one time, but like Reagan, had to switch parties due to lack of party support. There is another politician too. Can't think of the name...

I hated and didnt understand politics for years till I took a job as a Republican Fundraiser(Telemarketing, cold calling)

I realised after taking that job, following politics on TV and the news papers, that i am NOT republican. I've gone Democratic only because of Bush, and since deciding, quit that job, and payed way way more attention to politics. McCain is Bush, no matter what he says or what others think. Only concern I have of Biden, is that he's for healthcare companies, meaning, the cost of health and life insurance will skyrocket once Obama/Biden get in office. Politics are childish in my eyes, pointless. I seen comericals for McCain, blaming Obama for gas prices, and back and forth between McCain and Obama. I honestly think our government is extremely one sided and currupt, Obama will lose only because there is alot of people who dont like him, and will, and I mean WILL pick McCain only because there is no one else. Besides, the elections are rigged anyway. I have a tape that I made of the 2000 elections and the news the following morning, stating that Gore dropped out of the race at the last minute and awarded Bush the office because Gore quit. I tried looking it up in newspapers, the internet, and no such records exist, but I have the vhs tape in my livingroom, showed it to a few of my friends after watching Feirinhiet911, and since 2004, I been trying to find a way to convert the tape to my computer to post it on Youtube.
