I'd appreciate a little help with this one. OS: Windows vista home premium SP1 graphics card: nvidia geforce go 7600
This issue just came up today. My fps in all my source games (didn't even try bioshock, cod4, R6Vegas, etc) went to shit, and I started seeing errors in the render. I quit CS:S, and this error message shows up: "driver nvlddmkm has encountered an error and has recovered" (that may not be the precise wording, but it's to that effect).
Has anybody experienced this problem before, or does anybody know of a quick and easy way to fix it? I've tried re-downloading the drivers from nvidia.

Probably not an option, since it's a laptop, and the drivers are thus designed for Vista. Bic, download the latest Windows updates. If that doesn't work, uninstall the display driver from Device Manager, and then reinstall. if that doesn't work, uninstall Windows updates until it works again. If that doesn't work, wait for your laptop manufacturer to release a fix.
