Would I be able to use my home PC as a server to play small games in( like 2v2) hl2dm?  My current setup is an athlon64 3700+ 2 gigs ram and I have a dsl connection, I'm not 100% about the down/upstreams though.  But Yeah, the max I'd want is 2v2 on smaller maps. So?????

I believe so given the right versions of certain games, if your using a router or firewall you might need to open certain ports or something. The only issue I really see is that your connection might not be the best if you have low-end DSL.

You should be able to I run my computer sometimes on lots of game and no problems at all, you just have to have the net speed to back it up. I have a 64bit 3 ghz hyperthreaded cpu with 2 mb and it runs the sever and i can get on and play also, i use mine in lan partys too.
