Man that game when the mic spammer was on turned out to be an amazing matchup! Started off with Red leading 2-0 and blue(my team) came back to tie it up at 2-2. Must have played for an entire hour at 2-2 with each teams offensive momentum ebbing and flowing every five minutes or so. One minute blue team would be owning red inside their base and then it would flipflop. At one point I was so fed up with a couple of snipers on Red That I was cussing up a storm. They just dominated the front of our base for about ten minutes and I was sure they were cheating. I then grabbed a flamethrower and ran across the bridge killing everything in my way somehow miraculously making it all the way through their base and onto the sniper deck and proceeded to turn everything on deck into crispy meat. Must have taken out about 8-9 in a 40 second run. What a blast! One of the best games I've played to date. I'd pay to see that one on film. The entire game must have lasted 2 hours.

um... it's tempest 2... and it's 2horriblefort...
Within that one paragraph you listed of 2 problems I have against 2horriblefort and one once in a life time event of teams actually pushing?!?! you gotta be kidding me... unless both team has someone that is a known attacker like Bendy and someone actually knows how to play medic.
You played pyro and manage to get to their base. NOT a surprise, the fact that a pyro can easily rampage run through an entire team without breaking a sweat is not common. Pyro has too much range, still not enough of drop off. Super powerful attacks that almost requires NO skill, it's still mashing W + Fire key, Every pub game is filled with 20 pyros.
Snipers... on 2fort its only a sniper battle with 8 snipers duking it out. 2horriblefort is only a sniper battle, turtling, and a stalemate. Overall not a single person would play the game of CTF right.

Saber is just mad because we suggested that one of the tempest gets renamed to
"The Tempest #9, 24/7 Saber Fail"
...i think it has a nice ring to it. Quote:

Overall not a single person would play the game of CTF right. You must have been playing a completely different 2fort than what I play. If the other team wants to rush the front door, I'll either go sniper and stand at the door, picking them off one by one as they cross the bridge, or go demo and sticky bomb the hell out of the door (Not like those noobsauce demomen who stand on the grate and puke grenades out of the opening, I stand my ass on the floor and whack pyros with my bottle if they punch through the stickies). If the other team wants to turtle, I'll go medic and bring a shitstorm of invincible heavies and demomen to thin them out. If you can communicate effectively with just one person on your team, the results are amazing. To be honest pyros are my top headshot victims, second only to heavies. If you want to get into my base as a pyro, you better learn how to use those tunnels, because I won't let you use the front door. And if a sniper thinks he's going to duke it out with me from atop that sniper perch, I switch to demoman and spam him with grenades. Sometimes the problem with 2fort is that people don't know how to play to the other team's weaknesses. Switching classes to adapt to the situation is vital to achieving victory.

No, I dislike 2fort alot... I still don't know why people love it. It's a horrible map, no one wins a round unless the other team is horrible and the other is stack or it's a small match.
