This is just sad. Old and treacherous comes to mind. Too bad McCain has no real foundation.

There is a mirror on the cover. You can't see a mirror in the image because you're looking at a computer monitor. Newsweek does not have a Person of the Year, only Time does.

I think he's connecting Obama's opposition to drilling (which isn't entirely accurate anyway) to where gas prices will go ("four dollars... five dollars... no end in sight"), not that Obama has been the author of any policies behind the current prices. And I think "treacherous" isn't perhaps the best word to describe McCain, btw. HolyJaw wrote:In the end, everything Endyss said.

ROFL too funny
Endyss - Yeah, Obama was opposed to the temporary 18 cent tax being withheld, saying it was a short term solution and would amount to about 30 dollars total savings, and the oil company would just increase gas prices anyway and then our roads wouldn't get the funding they needed. The treachery comes from the typical republican tactic of doing something wrong and then saying the other guy did it. For instance, Bush and McCain were both against the new GI bill, yet when it passed, they both took credit for it, saying they worked hard to cross the aisles. It's a great tactic though - attack the other guy and keep attacking and keeping him on the defensive, so he has to spend all the time explaining the truth while you just keep attacking with more of the same.
