This game is rather old but I kid you not when I say that it is largely overlooked as one of the greatest gaming experiences ever introduced to the PC. This is a real time strategy in a mythical universe similar to LOTR & D&D.
The games strong points:
*Amazing graphics at the time(still looks good enough to play today).
Brought hardware 3D to top down games.
*Storyline = Amazing! Really sucks you in. Best I've ever seen in my many years of PC gaming.
As you complete each level a narrator reads pieces of the storyline(Example below taken from random level)

*Bloody, bloody bloody!
*Gameplay is highly tactical and intuitive and speed can be modified to suit ones preference.
* Music & voice acting is top notch. Creates a very surreal atmosphere that's not interrupted by cheesy "B" rate acting.

I wanted to share this for you diehard pc gamers who have a difficult time finding titles worthy of your time.
As far as it's greatness goes I put Myth II Soulblighter right up there with Rome Total War, the original Doom, Halflife, CS& TF and BF1942.
This one is highly recommended for your notebook since it doesn't have steep system requirements however once you've played a level or two it's likely that it will be permanently added to your main rig.
If you enjoy both strategy and the mythical theme this game hits the nail on the head.
