Anyone notice that a ton of videos showing the candidates in a more honest and real format are being removed at record speeds?

I've gone through three or four McCain videos that were front paged on Digg only to find them removed. Quickly.

It's really disturbing to see them caving so easily.

Would you rather they kept the videos up and got sued by CNN, Fox, etc?

Some of the videos don't seem to be tagged with a network. Some stuff seems to be videos of them appearing in local settings.

I understand copywrite infringement, but I also believe in letting the truth be known. I know some of this stuff won't be aired on television and the internet is an extremely powerful tool this election season.

Just makes me sad.

There has been so much mis-information floating around this campaign season, I've simply ignored all of it. What I really care about is a politician's history, what he/she stands for, and how they do in the debates. Unfortunately, many will base their votes off information they see on youtube, The Daily Show, Digg, etc.

If any of the clips can be claimed by a corporate entity, they've been cracking down on demanding websites like youtube remove them.  It's been the same for both candidates.

My initial post pointed out that it was the same for both candidates. I was just providing an example I had about McCain videos.

Yeah, Youtube's been besieged ever since they went corporate.  Any little thing gets removed if anyone makes even a remote claim on it.
