I rented Resident Evil 4 yesterday. For the PS2. Yeah, I'm really behind with the times.
And I'm about 10 feet away from the big, final Saddler fight when the shitstained disc freaks out and sends everything into a loop. No problem, I do the old NES blow on it for half an hour then wipe it with your shirt maneuver. Nothing happens for half an hour.
Since it's a rental and I have nothing to lose, what's a cheap way to get rid of all the damn scratches on the disc? I'm willing to spend a little money on a reliable commercial product to fix the disc if I have to, as well as to polish some other games that seized up around the late '90s.
