* Valve often releases minor updates that do not require a server to be the exact same version as the client - which is why you can connect.

* Servers will always show up in your Favorites or History lists no matter what version they are.

* If a server is out-of-date compared to the master version, it will NOT show up on the master server list - which is why they are empty.

* The current TF2 version is 1.0.4.2 Protocol 14; Tempest servers are currently running 1.0.4.1 Protocol 14. Since the protocol is the same you can still connect, but since the version is now old it will not show up on the master Valve server list.

I believe they are updated.  I FINALLY got into the admin update utilities to do the updating, but checked them out before I went through with it and they look updated.  I connected at least...

Please post here if you can't get into any of them and which one(s)

EDIT for Sunfox: Ah, I see.  Will take care of immediately.

Unlike Whut, who is sadly without net access tonight, I have to update the servers using a web-based interface, which so far is proving slow as molasses.

But, that said, #1 and #2 should be up-to-date, working through #3 and on down the line as the night wears on.  Sunfox, can you do whatever you did to check the versions and make sure #1 and 2 are reflecting the proper version now?
