I just wanted you to read our posts about server names, maps, and rules and see if you had anything that you think we might need to do. Also, will spraying porn on our server really get us in legal heat?

Nookies Playhouse
The Pleasure Dome
The Love Nest
I like what Whut did. It's easy to find his server. It's compact but not too short and it's professional and neat. That's the way we should have the name for our server. We want people to think the server is a well run server and it should be reflected by our name.

It's highly unlikely that it will get you in trouble, as there are thousands of servers where it occurs, but it's not impossible either.
I don't have any good names for you... I have a format I use to name my servers, as Fubar pointed out, simple, intriguing, and to the point. The Tomb and The Crypt were by far the best. But I've used The Meat Grinder, The Void...
I try and pick a name to match the type of game I'm running... My battlegrounds server is called Musket Massacre, my old digital paintball server was called Splatter Damage.... It isn't that tough to come up with catchy names. The key is to make it a name people can remember at lan parties for example. "Hey, everyone join the tomb!" Just an example.

Here's the situation my attorney dealt with:
Kid is playing video games (Old counter-strike. I believe). Someone sprays a chick spreading her twat, and the kid stops to admire said spray. It just so happens that mom comes in and oversees what son is looking at. With no clear understanding of what is going on, she freaks out. Child is 12 years old. She want's retribution, so she somehow finds the ip of the server and gets everyone into a big stink. No one was actually sued, but they went through the motions. Running a server is no different than running any other sort of service. Exposing minors to illicit material can get you in trouble in the real world. If you were to hand a kid a playboy on the street and someone saw you, you'd get in trouble. The internet isn't that much different.
