EA had a little problem with the key codes for RA3, some customers were one character shy of a keycode. EA's solution? guess. literally

Seems like a reasonable and cost effective solution.

And this actually surprises anyone? When has EA done anything ever right? Never. End of story. They suck. They rush games, ruin good ones, and just are horrible. Name 1 good EA game, you can't because there isn't one.

What we have here is an issue of quality control. This is clearly a failure on their supplier's part, but it happens. The resolution is a reasonable one considering there's nothing wrong with the actual product and this error can be resolved in a matter of minutes. The only thing I could see EA doing to make things right with the customer is handing out something like a 25% off next game purchase coupons.
As for their game quality, you're right. They suck. They've lost their creativity over the years and have given into the whims of trash culture USA (see Need For Speed=>Need For Speed Underground). Whatevs. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

CNC3 had the potential to be good, but they ruined it. The graphics and animations were horrible. I had such high expectations for it and felt goosebumps when I saw the real actors and heard the "Welcome back, Commander." But when I actually played it I was extremely disappointed.

And who actually plays sports video games? lol

Just saying this seems like something EA would do and I'm not surprised.

I do..

Graphics mean dick in a video game. Tetris, Starcraft, Half-Life, Deus Ex, all have inferior graphics and are way better than most games coming out today.

In this day and age they do. Of course there have been amazing games without great graphics but I'm just saying EA ruins any game they touch now. CNC3 could have been so much insanely better. They even screwed up Mercenaries 2 by rushing the hell out of it.

EA sucks often but saying they fuck up everything is just ignorant conformity.

Battle for Middle Earth 2
C&C 3
BF2142 was decent enough

Of course... only one of those I actually *paid* for.

Maybe I just have really high standards for games because I didn't like any of those. Especially any game in the Battlefield series.
