Make sure Left 4 Dead runs on this craptastic computer? I meet all requirements except CPU. My processor's stock clock speed is below the minimum requirements, but it's overclocked to match the (apparently working) Pentium 4's performance. Or should I just wait 5 days for the demo? Or should I fuck instincts and buy L4D right now and try it myself and if it doesn't work I wait until December? Win Cookies Awarded: 7 (bawwwwww)

You should be fine. My CPU isn't overclocked and its current speed is a few decimals down from the required or recommended speeds for some of the games I play, and they all work fine.

It all depends on how good you want it to look. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

If you're going to buy it anyway ( which I can only assume you will ), then I'd go ahead and buy it now if you have the funds. If it doesn't work, then you can just delete the local content and it's still bound to your steam account. Reinstall whenever and wherever you please. Safety + Peace
