Guys. I want everyone here of voting age to vote. I don't care who you vote for, but vote. Also, vote informed if you can. Take the time to research shit before voting. However, if you are too lazy to do so, then vote.

With that said.

I'd like to welcome Belligerent Pimp to the admin team. He'll join myself, Splinter, Endyss, and Dragon in maintaining this community. I believe he'll do an awesome job.

Welcome, buddy. You earned it.

Grats Pimp!

On a side note reflecting voting, I really never understood a reason to participate in the popular vote for the President when in fact the popular vote does not effect the outcome of who becomes president. While I vote for my elected officials who actually do decide who becomes president, I live in a community that regardless if everyone in my county voted my way, we get completely owned in a landslide of votes. Electoral College > Popular Vote.

Just because the system is broken doesn't make it any less important.

Yeah, the electoral college is an outdated system that totally sucks some serious dick... but I vote anyway.

Washington will always go blue. But you aren't just voting for president. You're voting for state reps and laws and shit. Do that.

Actually, while I find the Electoral College to be outdated as well, I find id rather have a small group of men that people who actually care about their

country (sometimes) get to take their experiences in our nations capital, writing bills, discussing politics in a civil manner and put them to use via the

Electoral College. People who vote not just for the popular vote decide who these people are and generally people who vote for local laws,

congressmen, and senators generally have a more open view on life and don't just scream about how the other one is wrong(don't get me wrong

some of them do as well). Last I checked, if everyone voted for the Senators or Congressmen that they felt best suited their wishes and demands from

their sake, that would be the popular vote. Sure sometimes the people u vote for don't represent what u elected them for, but shit happens. If the

popular vote decided our president and not our elected officials, I think people would be getting paid to vote certain ways or forced to vote one way or

another (and yes i know there are bribes in Washington as well. I dunno the system is fucked anyway, but like I say, "If its broke, procrastinate as long

as possible and hopefully it will sort its own shit out.

Yeah what the fuck is that?

Also, you'd have to pay a ton of people to vote a certain way. That would be crazy expensive. I'm sure it happens, but really... the way things are going?

You think people would sacrifice their shit for like $5? I wouldn't.

I avoid aim mostly anymore.

Anyway, I feel like all votes should be popular vote. If the majority votes for someone, they should win. Period.

Of course I also believe in the republic of cascadia movement... so who cares what I think.

GRATS B-PIMP!!!

I agree with WDF, whether you like the system or not, and regardless of who you like, GO VOTE!  It is one of the most powerful rights you have.  Take full advantage of it before you get convicted of a felony!!!

Please keep in mind that anytime you have an option to 'voice' your opinion, you should exercise it.  This also includes our clan votes.  Not many people are paying attention to our clan votes recently.. I would request that you pay a visit to the clan forum, see who is up for a vote and then exercise your 'vote' in the poll.

Thanks!!

I agree: Vote, but vote intelligently. If you vote against Obama just because he's (half-)black or for McCain because Palin is a MILF I'll track your ass down and shoot you. It'd be doing our society and our democracy a favor, regardless of what the court says.
