NS2 is now in open beta. If you've never played nationstates, what it is is basically a browser-based nation sim loosely based or rather inspired by the book Jennifer Government by Max Barry. The original game was cool but it was severely limited, the new version supports alliances, trade pacts, wars, espionage, and some other stuff. It looks pretty cool but since it just came out yesterday there is a lot of network traffic and pages load slowly and sometimes you get dropped.
