something free, because i know it won't hold my attention long, but i have a craving for an mmo right now. suggestions?

Dark fall isn't Just a game.   Darkfall will change your life.  Darkfall will suck your dick if you want it to.

some of the stuff this game is trying is pretty risky/innovative

-items will decay over time and can be repaired only so many times before they completely break

-the items you wear will affect how fast you can move or how much cool down time a spell will have

-when you die your entire inventory can be looted, likewise the same goes for fauna

-spawns are random, clear an area of monsters and they will simply spawn elsewhere, kill too many of one species and they will migrate elsewhere

-the map takes 8 hours to walk from one end to the other, there will be no loading times between zones, there will only be a brief loading time when loading dungeons

-when a player gets a house, they get a house as in they're house will be placed an a plot of land on the map and wont be some hub everyone goes to, there will even be "house wars"

-every item in the game can be crafted

-the devs havent released much info on quests, the game world, crafting and crafting recipes, town management, warfare etc..

Well darkfall looks awsome and all that but its not going to be a free online like he asked , Wouldnt mind trying that out myself

the game is easily reachable up to around the 60's-70's. The equiptment you can get your own easily, once in the 70's the equiptment is abit more harder to come by as you would definately need to upgrade it with all the extra shit. the nation wars are fun, you can PVP in all servers, PK in some, theres also guild war available.

you get cool shit every 10 levels, the best one is at 50.

lvl 10 you get a combo skill that uses consecutive skills and never misses
lvl 20 you get an aura that beefs you up for a short time
lvl 30 you get ur first battle mode, its similar to aura
lvl 40 you get nothing unfortunately except additional stats
lvl 50 you get a 2nd battle mode, similar to aura and the 1st battle mode but with an additional ability as well as a special skill only usable while your in battle mode 2

i only have a force blader and a wizard with the skills. force blader has a cannon that you gotta charge up using sword skills, and you shoot your cannon with magic skill and special skill casts a large satanic circle around you dealing dmg to anything within the skills radius.

wizard is able to cast 2 skills at the same time, and the special skill casts elemental festival which does heavy damage also a large aoe skill that does dmg to everything within its radius

i know force archer has dual pistols that shoots insanely fast but the dmg is abit low, special skill is a sniper rifle shot to a single target that does a ton of dmg.

warrior gets a scythe not sure what the extra ability is, the special skill sorta sucks, he just throws it.

force sheilder gets their sheild transformed, not sure what the additional ability is either, special skill does an aoe around the caster.

a blader has claws, does fast dmg, special skill he jumps in the air and crashes on the enemy causting heavy dmg.

force blader - user who uses both sword and magic skills
force sheilder - user who uses both sword and magic skills
warrior - user who uses sword skills in spacific but can get magic skills although they are not as usefull
blader - user who uses sword skills in spacific but can get magic skills although they are not as usefull
force archer - user who uses magic skills, can get sword skills but not as usefull
wizard - user who uses magic skills, can get sword skills but not as usefull

force blader - uses 1 katana for sword skills + orb for magic
force sheilder - uses 1 blade + crystal for magic - sheild is considerd "astrial sheild" and changes shape every new orb u use
warrior - uses a 2h sword or daikatana.... basically a giant katana
blader - uses 2 katanas
force archer - uses 2 crystals - bow is considerd "astrial bow" and changes shape every new crystal
wizard - uses 2 orbs.
