I'm still kind of new to TF2, but I'd like to think I'm fairly decent playing at playing a battle medic. I've played on Tempest #1 a few days in a row now and met some really cool people (and ridiculously talented ones), a including a couple of {pDs}, Donkeypunch and TripleBam, and I think this would be a cool clan to be a part of. I am in college so I usually play in the evenings (mountain standard time -- I'm in Alberta, Canada) and on weekends, and I also like to play Left 4 Dead and Day of Defeat (the original, not Source). I'm looking to get better with some more classes in TF2 and the scrims seem like they'd be helpful. I also want to try out HL2:DM (I just bought the Valve pack a couple of weeks ago and am still trying out all the games+mods). I'm never been much of a forum kind of person, but I'll try to be somewhat active on here, as well. I read through the rules, but if there's anything extra anyone would like to add, I'd be happy to hear it.

I'm not sure why they haven't included this in the rules yet, but pie is a required aspect of the recruitment phase.

Poontang pie? Sorry, I'm fresh out. I can offer you some cow or mud varieties, though.

Bitwise is good people. Even reported a couple troublemakers on temp2, giving me a chance to step in and clean out some trash.

Seems the goons I hired to do my job for me are absent!

Welcome to the recruit phase!

Basically take this time to get to know everyone and make everyone get to know you. Do this by playing in the servers and utilizing this forum. If the current members don't know your name, they probably won't vote for you.

In a few weeks time we'll have a vote.

Put {pDs} in front of your name and [R] behind it.

Welcome!

P.S. Crawdad needs to donate some more pie!

If I just dropped into their games and started ubering them a lot, would that be cheating?

A fellow Albertan, that's a start. You're not a oilers fan are you? I hate the oilers.

Go Flames.

We're the latest pandemic -- complete with poutine and free health care. I'm a little chunkier and more sluggish than other Medics, but it'll be subsidized by the government.

Oh wow, I made it into Gazzic's sig.

I haven't played with him, but I have been lurking in l4d with some friends IRL.  I see him a lot in the chat gazzic sets up, and he seems to be a good guy. I'll vote yes.
