You know, I hear plenty of complains on the lack of originality in todays game industry, but original ideas are a lot harder to come across than one might think.
I've been thinking about this topic lately, and I do understand WHY there's such a lack of original ideas in games, mainly because the Halo clones are the ones that sell, while truly interesting ideas gather dust on the shelves. Anyone remember Psychonauts?
Of course, considering this is a gaming community I'm most likely preaching to the choir, so just enjoy the comic, kthnxbai.

Excellent game. Also Portal, Advance Wars, and Puzzle Quest come to mind as pretty original in concept.
