I don't have a TV hooked up, but I saw part 1 yesterday on Scifi.com . Did part 2 air yet? You should be more like Cantrip.  Twitchy: "I pulled a Cantrip . . ." Rumors? http://www.tv.com/capric...g=search_results;title;1 I'm on the fence about the finale. I thought they dumbed it down and hammed it up. I think the show should have ended with Adama by the grave. We, the audience, get that they're on our Earth. I don't need that cliche' matrix-esc bullshit explaining it to me at the end. We're smarter than that. Furthermore, that whole montage of our current robot technology made it seem like a shitty discovery channel special. The whole thing seemed really over-done. Not enough efforts on the visuals side of things and too much effort on attempting to tug on heart strings. Half of the finale was incredible. The other half had me feeling insulted. For a show that spent so much time and effort ensuring an intelligent show, they really dumbed it down at the end. "HEY HERE ARE THE ANSWERS THE END!" I am going to watch it again to make sure, but I think it may have been the corniest episode of BSG ever, and that's saying a lot considering how bad all of the "Shannon" episodes were.

I rewatched it. It's actually a great ending to a fantastic series.... Or at least it would have been if it ended at the right moment. That final bit was so lame.
