E3 starts Monday, so let's talk about it. Who's going (I am), and what are you excited about? UPDATE: (copy pasted from another thread on another forum) The E3 floor show starts on Tuesday and I'm going to be on camera interviewing as many devs as possible. So here's the deal, we all know for the most part what games are going to be shown at E3 this year, and I want to give you guys the opportunity to post any serious questions you might have for me to ask the devs. I'm not making any guarantees, and it's not like I'll be reading off any of your names and giving you props as I ask these questions. What this will do is give me some material to work with and save me some time so that I can worry about other pre-show preparations, while allowing you to get your questions answered. If you want to ask some questions make sure to first list the name of the game or developer and then list your questions underneath the game/dev. Don't mix all your questions together clearly categorize them. Here is an example; Game: Prototype Question 1: How long is the game? Question 2: bla bla bla Game: Duke Nukem Forever Question 1: bla bla bla Developer: EA Question 1: What are EA's plan for...? Personality: Tim Shafer Question 1: What inspired you to work on Psychonauts? System: PSP-Go! Question: bla bla bla I think we all get the idea now, so ask away and don't think that any question is too small or stupid! As far as I know Nintendo still has some HUGE announcement they want to make, most ppl think its a new Zelda or Mario game. I expect something greater and not some shitty gimmick wii-mote control addon. Apart from that I hope to see something from Valve... I donno something around the lines of Half Fucking Life 2 Episode Damn 3. Portal 2 news would be nice too. Will you be able to hook us up with some video/pictures of your extravaganza in E3? I can technically go as I know someone who can get me in unfortunately I can't afford the flight to E3 =( ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

I'm not going to hook up with pictures-n-shit, I'm going to be on camera for most of the show so I'll link to footage. Mass Effect 2 is on my hype list. I was addicted to the first one (read the books, too), so I'm hoping to see something worthwhile from BioWare. =D Outside of that, I'm just hoping that the show will have a few unexpected games in development...new ones. I can do without another sequel to a game I've already played before in it's 5th installment (MGS5, I'm looking at you), thank you. lol DredNaught wrote:In regard to the ladies... or lack thereof: Just remember that it's about quality, not quantity. I'm looking forward to E3 showing us all that Duke Nukem Forever is going to be released and the stories about it's demise was merely publicity to get the gaming world talking............... Alright I know it's a long shot but I can dare to dream... More realistically I'm quite intrigued to see what Konami has up their sleeves with the new 'Metal Gear.' They've been hyping this announcement for a month so it better be worth it. Also I would like to hopefully get some news on some upcoming RPGS which are still criminally underrepresented on Current-Gen systems. I'm the leetest one here

It was always big, huge annoucements from all majour companies still deem E3 one of the events to release big news on their upcoming titles. Its only been 1 year I think where most of the big names didnt say much and had offered more in a German convention. Don't expect booth babes anytime soon either, the cost of E3 was horribly high to maintain its view/status thus why the years after it seemed quite bland. I cant remember but I think 2 years ago E3 was basically a graveyard with almost no one showing up, the rooms were nearly empty and there have been previous talks of cancelling E3 alltogether which thankfully never did happen. My best guess is a magical moment in time where someone might say something about plans for the future console. I also hope that company that offers games via a little black box (forgot the name) shows more stuff and hopefully a release date. ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

"TOO MANY PEOPLE LIKE E3, SO WE'RE GONNA MAKE IT DIFFERENT" Followed by "OH SHIT WE'RE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY FUCK WHAT DO WE DO." Ugh. Too bad I'll be in Hawaii all week. I guess I'll have to bring my laptop and steal internet so I don't miss out on anything. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

I'd totally participate in this if the site benefited from it... But this is mostly a way for you to pad your ego and brag about how you are going and we're not.
