Yes, it would be more fun. Read the forum rules, see how we operate, then wait for an admin to give you the go. You start as a recruit for awhile, then after a week or so (dependent), we'll vote. Go ahead and add the {pDs} tag to the front and the [R] tag to the end of your name. In 2 weeks, we'll vote on your membership. Frequent on the servers and the forums for the best chance of getting in. It's pretty easy to get into pDs if you show an active interest.
