Well, judging from my last post in April, it's been a while since I even logged in. Been super busy with work, but the short version of what's going on is after I updated my 2002 IBM Thinkpad laptop with Windows Service Pack 3, Spydoctor, etc., in order to combat that zombie machine virus, I was surfing the internets in slow mo. Then wdfnews went to this new graphics intensive format and it took like two minutes to load a page. I only have wifi at the new place and my gaming rig, which has been collecting dust, has a wireless card, but it only works half the time. My work won't allow surfing due to the the security settings. So I just gave up. Then Whut closed down "Ask Cantrip" and I knew I had to do something. So I went to the store with the intent of doubling the laptop memory. Well, the salesguy said I shouldn't waste my money and just get another machine. So I came home with a netbook. Yep, don't laugh, a netbook. Acer Aspire One, 10 inches, Atom processor, 1GB memory, 160 GB HD. No optical drive. It screams compared to what I'm used to. Anyway, work has let up a little for a while. I've maxed out my comp time with all the extra hours I've been putting in. Now I'm just giving them my time for free. Looks like I dropped one slot in the forum whoring department: User Name Posts WDF? 8,128 Dragon 3,392 Lead Salad 3,341 Cantrip 3,159 DCMH 3,112 Damn you Lead. So yeah, look for new posts starting tonight. Luv u guys, but not in a faggy way of course. Except for Spanny and Whut. They're dreamy and can suck me off creamy anytime. Welcome back. I've been having computer troubles recently too, but although I am planning on getting that resolved also, I must say that I also have a netbook. Mine is the HP one though. I like the Acer verson also. The HP netbook is one that's a little bothersome, but considering I didn't pay for it, I can't really complain.
