Pretty cool Source mod. It's similar to CSS but with an aesthetic style very reminiscent of Ghost in the Shell. At first it seemed kind of lame, but I'm getting a little bit better and liking it a little more. It's a hard transition back into more realistic shooters ever since I've been playing WoW, CoD, and TF2 mainly for the past year or two. I'd give this game a 7.5 out of ten with room for growth in time. I don't really have any complaints about the game itself, except for some bugginess. I'm kinda laggy when I have details high but I think it's because I'M DOING IT WRONG with my graphics card, etc. My main gripe is that 90% of the servers are full of REALLY SERIOUS GAYMARZ. In the game I just got back from some dude raged because I was evidently "in the wrong place". But I just muted him and kept playing, the rest of the people in the server were pretty chill. http://www.neotokyohq.com/download.html

I played it to try it out and I wasn't sure at first, but it's actually a really cool game and is very team oriented. It isn't as twitchy as counter-strike, but there are moments like that. Overall, planning and slow deliberate movements win out over twitchy reactions. Great mod. Chase: the only refuge i have from my mom is when i go to my gf's Me: I have no gf, just palmela handerson Chase: Well at least you aren't a double amputee.

TBH this game almost plays exactly like CS except it has its own unique game mode, CTG which is bascially CTF but with one flag both teams go after. And the flag is actually the mangled torso and head of a fembot. Except when people play Recon, it's kinda like playing Hidden source, except there's more than one invisible guy. Actually it's VERY twitchy if you're playing a recon or encounter one in a close-quarters map. I think everybody would like this game, unless you don't like anime or japanese culture. The designers of this game very clearly have a hardon for japanese culture and cyberpunk, they probably jack off to pictures of Major Motoko.

You actually get punished if you camp because someone can grab the ghost and point you out (the ghost allows you to see the location of enemy players even though everyone can see the location of the ghost at all times), along with people being able to shoot through corners and thin stuff like glass walls, steel strips, wood fences etc. Chase: the only refuge i have from my mom is when i go to my gf's Me: I have no gf, just palmela handerson Chase: Well at least you aren't a double amputee.

i thought it was pretty difficult for playing for the first time. i was told the learning curve is on the high side. the game play is slower than css and thus will take a little longer to learn Cantrip wrote:When I die, I want to be reincarnated as a woman's jogging bra.
