Has anyone seen anything about the Linksys OGV200?

I just stumbled apon the site today in my search for a better, faster internet provider. (300/300 sucks ass)

  • Automatically optimizes your home network traffic
  • Gives time-sensitive data higher priority through to the Internet
  • Reduces lag in online gaming
  • Improves Voice over IP call quality

The actual real life timeframe for these occurences is unknown at this time. Sometimes it happens more than once in a day and during other periods it would be more like for hell to freeze over than anything actuallly getting done. Currently we are in a time frame where it would seem that there would be more of a chance of Dragon getting a girlfriend as far fetched as that might be than there would be of anything actually happening here.

I havent heard anything about this one, however I have been in the market for a new router, or atleast wiring my connection.

I currently have some Linksys wireless router that is about 2 years old and is a POS. About every 30 seconds I get massive network lag, a 56k runs CS smoother half the time

Newegg has no reviews on it, and is listing it at 55$, if it does work, then it would defininetly be worth it.

You suck, thats a kick ass router.

On a side note, I'm thinking of going with Surewest (local company) Broadband, it isn't the 20 Mbps like it used to be, they scaled it back to 10 Mbps, but hell, thats a shit load better then 300 Kbps (yay DSL )

Why do I bring this up? Well the answer is that I Don't want the broadband modem that they offer, I want a better one.

    Any sujestions?

Youll never get 10 mbps anyway. Most  companies place gay caps on the connection, and from what I hear they completely overbook their connections, so even if it wasnt uncapped, youd still get lower than what they advertise. I dont have any experience here though, just what ive seen while browsing. I do know Cable > DSL, ive got comcast right now though, its not bad.
