Google Notifier is an ubiquitous app to find on Macs for anyone with a GMail account, and is also highly prevalent among the Windows community as well.
Today was the first day of class, and in typical fashion, I paid not an ounce of attention and instead discovered how to manage multiple GMail accounts with Google Notifier.
First off, I use three GMail accounts, one of which is a company-based domain (for my school) and I want to be able to keep an eye on all of them at all times (as traffic is routed differently.
Here are the steps:
1) Clone the app
2) Edit info.plist to force it to use different property files for each instance
3) Edit unread.png and nounread.png using cmd+u in photoshop
4) (Optional) Using Developer Tools, edit MainMenu.nib, add "Menu Item", double-click and edit to the name of the account (or whatever you want it to say.)
Here's how the top of my screen looks with two icons:

And here's a closer look, where you can clearly see both the color-coding and the labels:

I went ahead and made the third icon as well, and added it in to the mix:

And here's the effect of using step 4:

I'm not too sure how Windows users would go about this, or if it's even possible, but there it is (and I"m sure by now we have a pretty big Mac community here, as well.)
Thoughts?
