I'd like to apologize to everyone for my conduct regarding yesterday's scuffle with hwguy. He trolled CMS immensely, and I took the bait, seeing it as an attempt to satisfy my urge to flame and in the process get somebody I strongly dislike banned. While I still stand firmly behind the cause to have him banned, it was inappropriate of me to respond in the way I did, and for this I apologize. I feel partially responsible for starting yesterday's flame battle. While he set things in motion with his tirade against Noobina and Defiance, and I'm sure there are many others who would have responded and turned it into a flamefest, I feel like I accelerated it to a much more personal level and made the idea of banning him public, initially. I would like everyone to know that in retaliating with a flame, I was not trying to represent pDs, WDFnews, or any group for that matter. And even though the detest for hwguy is shared among many players, I was speaking only for myself. I am simply a young man who, every once in a while, gets a kick out of typing out an angry, swear-ridden paragraph, even though in reality I'm not a very angry person. Lastly, I apologize to Whutdufuk, and all members of pDs for misrepresenting the clan. Right now, pDs composed of 99% honest, kind people, with the remaining 1% being honest and kind most of the time. Yesterday's little event was just one of those embarrassing moments that happen in every internet community when you let a bad apple sit in the basket for too long. I'm not going to say "lets move on" nor should anyone else say it. We have already moved on. We moved on last night. Nobody misses hwguy. I am simply trying to clear my name.

Meh, he trolled us cuz he was trying to get something out of it, trying to make every1 think we had some secret reason for disliking him. Even without our vote, its still 20-9. He was just trying to grab things, to turn every1 around, or ajust make up reasons for us disliking him. I just sat back, and let him dig his own grave. There is nothing you can do in that situation, nothing will shut him up, but at least there wasn't anymore "he's changed" questions. I'd like to actually thank you for your responses lead...I couldn't have said it better than you did. Whether or not you were standing up for us or just plain sick of the kid, everything you said was very much appreciated by us. And when you quoted TLC...i lol'd. A lot...and then the song was stuck in my head all day. So...you should really just apologize for that part.
And 3bam...the truth hurts. Somebody had to say it.
I think you guys were just standing up for the community you love. Maybe it could have been over sooner than it was, maybe different words could have been said...but defending yourself and your friends shouldn't be apologized for, imo.

Well I for one am glad Lead made this topic. I didn't want to troll or even partake in the last one, but my first reaction after reading all this was nothing but sheer absolute LOVE for the rhetoric it brought out, by the two top posters of this topic nonetheless. There's an option in the forum to enable "medals" for particular achievements by individuals (it's just missing images). Saying if such a feature were fully enabled, Lead and Triplebam would definitely get one right now...along with that umad? group that spawned up. That was something special, I have to admit. You say what you need to say, but then some idiot just keeps talking, and you feel as though you have to reply. yeah i was really surprised how quick that escalated... not what i had in mind that day, i just wanted to play wacky races without having to worry about insta-death when i spawned and people taunting about it... I am not saying that everyone is a douchebag who commented in that thread at all! What I was trying to say is that I think somebody accepting a Medal for apologizing for something they feel themselves was wrong, is a douchebag thing to do. I might be in the minority in that way...i dunno. I just think it would cheapen what I think Lead and Triple (and anybody else) were trying to accomplish. Its your clan, you can award medals as you choose..it just looks bad to me.

ROLFMAO! I've been absent for a while, and this is the first I've seen of all this mob-rule and melodrama with hwguy. I love this community, I hope no one doubts that, but having read like 10 pages of posts just now I have to say...
